I'm a SPRAT Level 3, can I skip IRATA level 1 and go straight to Level 3?

Yes! Technicians currently registered in date with SPRAT at Level 3 who have a minimum of 1000 hours (which shall be properly presented in a SPRAT log book only) at that level and one years’ experience at that level (a minimum total of 2,000 hours and 2 years in the SPRAT system), must undertake a minimum four-day course with an IRATA Training Member Company. This will be followed by an IRATA
independent assessment, to acquire the same grade of qualification with IRATA.
